Mantra

It's choice
– not chance –
that determines your destiny.
- Jean Nidetch

The word mantra comes from two Sanskrit words: man which means "to think" and tra which means "tool". A literal translation would be "instrument of thought" or "to free from the mind.". Saying any word produces an actual physical vibration. Over time the word may come to have meaning associated with the effect of saying that vibration or word. This is one level of energy basis for words.

If you are a Vata, your mantra is Ram.

Make sure you say the mantra s-l-o-w-l-y, since Vata´s tend to talk in a fast pace.

Its purpose is to help boost your immune system and alleviate fear and anxiety.

If you are a Pitta, your mantra is Shrim.

Its purpose is to promote general health and harmony.

If you are a Kapha, your mantra is Hum .

Its purpose is clearing and stimulating.
