Vata flower

If we could give every individual
the right amount of nourishment and exercise,
not too little or too much,
we would have found the safest way to health.

-Hippocrates

We need to treat the ayurvedic doshas (vata, pitta and kapha) differently to find balance. The spacy and airy VATA needs to be treated like a flower since they are sensitive and easily wilts. They have initial enthusiasm but easily get frustrated and give up. Vatas need special attention, care and encouragement.

During the yoga practice the vatas needs to be mindful of their sensitivity and volatility.

Here are some balancing guideliness for Vata:

-create a safe, calm and secure environment for yourself

-keep a regular routine to stay grounded

-keep warm and avoid extreme cold temperatures

-eat your foods at regular times

-eat foods and herbs containing sweet, sour and salty tastes

-minimize intake of raw and cold foods

-eat warm and moist foods and spices

Det är så spännande med aurveda! Skriv mer om det så lovar jag att läsa! Jag märker att jag fungerar bättre med vissa rutiner, det grundar mig.
