Bedroom yoga

Yoga teaches us to cure what need not be endured
and endure what cannot be cured.

-BKS Iyengar

Strategies such as taking a warm bath, drinking a glass of warm milk, keeping regular bedtime hours, or counting sheep simply don't work to alleviate insomnia. Yoga has beneficial effects on the nervous system and the brain. Your sleep cycle normalizes from the increased blood circulation to the brain. The practice of breathing allows for more oxygen in the body providing clarity in the mind.

Bellow are some great asanas that will improve your sleep. It is important to remember that a soft bed doesn´t support your alignment. But in order to cure insomnia it´s always a better choice than eating sleeping pills.
