Water flexibility

For to be free
is not merely to cast off one's chains,
but to live in a way that respects and enhances the freedom of others.
- Nelson Mandela

We learn that air and water are prime foods for survival.

If you over consume air, you hyperventilate. You start feeling dizzy, light headed, experience blurred vision and possibly faint.

If you drink too much water, you will hyper-hydrate, which is dangerous. The normal balance of electrolytes in the body can change.

Most people are dehydrated and constipated. They drink coffee, tea and soda all
day long and sit in one place for long working hours. These combinations affects your connective tissues. You will end up feeling stiff and stuck all the time. The first aid improving your flexibility is to drink water.

Here are some idéas to drink more water, especially a challenge for the dried out VATA´s!

-Try to drink the water slowly through out the day

-Determine your water consumption!
The daily recommendation of drinking 2 liters of water naturally depends on if your body weight is 70 or 50 kg.

-Carry water with you in a bottle.

-Keep a cup of water next to you when you are sitting infront of the computer or tv.

-Put on a reminder every hour and pour yourself a glass of water.

-To make the water taste better add a little bit of apple cider vinegar, lemon-, lime- or cucumber slices or why not some mint leaves.

-Eat water-based foods as much as possible (watermelon is 92% water by weight, tomato 95 %, egg 74%)

-Minimize caffeinated beverage since they dry you out.

  1. Hej Sue!
Jag vet kaffe är inte alls bra för människor. Jag dricker bara litegranna till frukost. Det där med vatten är jag rätt bra på, brukade alltid ha med mig en vattenflaska i skolan.
