My home country, Finland, is covered with snow by now. The white snow crystals have a clean and fresh effect on the mind. Even though we don´t get snow here in Osaka I always carry the white light with me. Between my eyebrows, and it doesn´t melt.

The Ajna chakra (third eye) is the sixth main chakra within the seven chakra system. The colour is snow white and helps us to see the big picture. Exactly what happens when snow flakes cover a landscape during a dark winter night.

In many Scandinavian countries this time of the year is very dark. The lack of sunshine affects the pineal gland which is located behind the "third eye". Imbalances in the Ajna energies can lead to seratonin depletion and sleep disorders and SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder).

The value of clear thought cannot be over stated. There are many ways to balance the chakra between the eyes:

Meditation

-imagine a white light streaming down into your Crown Chakra

-be aware of any tightness, any resistance and breathe through it

-gently allow the energy to flow down to the Third eye

-Light treatment boost serotonin levels.

-Candle meditation awakens inner light.

-OM mantra balances the divine eye.

-Train your mind to avoid judging.

-There are many people, who default to negative thinking. Try to associate with people who see the good in everything.

  1. Så vackert skrivet om snön, jag håller helt med dig. Det renar, lugnar och stillnar tankarna. För mig. Älskar vintern! Och ljuset behöver vi så låt oss få behålla snön här upp i norr.
