Cooling meditation

Pittas are warm, understanding and intelligent people. When Pittas get too much fire they easily become irritated and angry.

Regular meditation recharges and softens the driven Pitta ambition. It lowers the heart rate blood pressure and helps to control negative thoughts.

The meditation below is easy to use as a first aid when the heat gets to your head and you need to cool down.


Imagine that you are sitting
in the shadow under a big tree,











feel the chilly ocean breeze touch your chin,

gaze out at the horizon as you soften your eyes,










be aware of the waves coming into the shore,

feel the balance of your connection to the sea,

let the cool and calm water

wash away your stress and troubles,

be the sea for a while...



give your blessings to the sea and open your eyes
