Get going with Kapha yoga

To have a sense of creative activity
is the great happiness
and
the great proof of being alive.

-Matthew Arnold

The Kapha season is here.
One terrific way to pacify this slow, heavy and static nature of dosha is
-exercise!

By lifting up your ass from the chair you leave the feeling of being dull, lethargic and depressed behind.

Take a brisk walk in nature and find a spot to practice yoga. The more challenging the better. That´s why I chose to do a vigorous yoga sequence up on a log.

Virabhadrasana 2 stimulates the internal fire

Adho Mukha Svanasana gets your lymph flowing

Setu Bandha Sarvangasana affects the flow of energy in heart chakra

Urdhva Dhanurasana creates movement in the lungs

Thread the needle is an excellent hip opener

Ardha Matsyendrasana energizes the spine

Malasana aids in elimination

The benefits of doing yoga in nature are many...especially when you notice you are not alone and being copied.

  6. Practicing yoga at such place is really beautiful experience. I had this experience, it was in India when I had been to yoga ashram for yoga training. I enjoyed there so much. You have reminded me that memories. Thank you so much for it.

    Honey :):)
