Sun salutation mantra

"Hinode",
Japanese for Rising-Sun.
As the sun rises each morning,
it reminds us that each day is a new beginning
holding unlimited possibilities.

Each morning as I step on my yoga mat I gaze at the sun. The life energy.

Surya namaskara, sun salutations, is a series of twelve physical postures. These alternating backward and forward bending postures flex and stretch the spinal column through their maximum range giving a profound stretch to the whole body.

Surya Namaskara has a deep effect in detoxifying the organs through copius oxygenation and has a deeper relaxing effect.

This one is my absolute favourite Surya Namaskara.

Salutation to the friend of all.

Salutations to the shining one.

Salutations to the source of creation.

Salutations to the One who illuminates.

Salutations to the One who moves through the sky

Salutations to the giver of strength and nourishment

Salutations to the golden cosmic womb.

Salutations to the ray of the sun.

Salutations to the infinite cosmic mother.

Salutation to the rising sun.

Salutations to the source of the life energy.

Salutations to the one who leads to enlightment.

Namasté
