Glorious Ayurveda

Adventure isn't hanging on a rope off the side of a mountain.
Adventure is an attitude that we must apply
to the day to day obstacles of life
facing new challenges,
seizing new opportunities,
testing our resources against the unknown
and in the process,
discovering our own unique potential.

This weekend has been filled with the flowers of Ayurveda. Except teaching my saturday class Yoga and Ayurveda I have been able to participate in a two days long workshop.

The frenchborn Ayurvedic and waterbased bodywork therapist Sophie Costes guided us deeper into the philosophy of Ayurveda. A 10 hours review of the science of healing the body and mind, nutrition, main ailments and asana practice.

Again a glorious weekend filled with a lot of new insights for my self practice and teaching.

And more Ayurveda is to come this week. Spirit Yoga Studio arranges a special event during the Culture day on November 3rd. I will be teaching a special TRIDOSHIC yoga class, which is fully booked. BUT on Thanksgiving (November 23rd) there is another extra TRIDOSHA class at Spirit Yoga Studio for all you Japanese to join in. More information you find here.

Welcome to pacify your dosha!
